Cuffs adapts police drama conventions to fit its family audience at 8pm on BBC1 by presenting the tv show to all audiences but mainly adults and young adults, as it starts at 8pm most young children will be asleep therefore more adults will be able to view the program. The scene at the start where the naked people turn around may not be appropriate to young children so they purposely started the show later so young children wouldn't be able to watch it. The scene where the man is killed in the corner shop by a bunch of boys can be quite graphic and make people feel unsettled or uncomfortable.
In conclusion, Cuffs does adapt its series to fit family audiences.
